Rad Hires
(Part-Time) Location: Remote (Philippines) Hours: Part-time, about 10 hours/week to start, with room to grow Seniority: Semi-senior (4–5 years of experience) About Rad Hires Rad Hires is a staffing agency that connects experienced remote professionals with US companies. We stay with you through the whole process, from the first conversation to your first day. About The Company Our client is an angel investing group based in the Washington, DC area. It brings individual investors together to put money into early-stage startups. It also screens and researches those startups, runs local events and a startup competition, and manages relationships with sponsors, economic development organizations, banks and service providers. The team is small: a few co-founders working part-time, plus deal volunteers and event volunteers. They're hiring because admin and operations work now takes up too much of the founders' time. About The Role This is a new role. You'll be the founders' first dedicated Executive Assistant. You'll take admin work off their plate and help build processes that keep running beyond one person, using AI where it makes sense. You'll often start with incomplete information, so asking good questions and moving quickly matter more than perfect polish. The role starts at 10 hours a week and could grow. What You'll Do Event support: handle pre-event admin, work with sponsors and the venue partner, and make sure event details are covered. Attendee and CRM management: move attendee names and emails from Luma into the CRM, and keep records clean. Calendars and follow-ups: manage two co-founders' calendars, track to-dos, and follow up with founders and investors. Investor outreach: send emails, invite investors to the WhatsApp group, and keep that community organized. Deal tracking: keep track of startups under review, take notes, and make sure deals are logged. Newsletter: support the newsletter and other marketing communications. Team coordination: coordinate between the core team, deal volunteers and event volunteers. Process and automation: help turn manual work into repeatable workflows, including AI-assisted ones, and suggest ways to make operations more efficient. General admin: draft emails and documents, and handle other day-to-day tasks. What We Look For 4–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Assistant or in a similar admin role. Fully fluent written and spoken English (a light accent is preferred). Comfortable using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini in daily work. Experience with Slack, Gmail and Google Drive. Strong attention to detail, and the habit of asking questions to understand what the end result should be. Scrappy and resourceful, able to deliver good value for every hour billed. Able to work async and follow written instructions and Loom video walkthroughs. Nice to have: Has built Claude skills, or used Lovable or other AI coding tools to build simple software. Has experience with process automation or workflow tools. Has worked remotely for US startups or small companies. Has experience with WhatsApp communities, Luma, CRMs or newsletter tools. Signals We Love You write clearly and concisely. Your work has no filler. You ask good questions before you start instead of guessing. You keep work moving at a steady pace, even when it isn't finished yet. You're used to startups, where everyone pitches in wherever it's needed. This Role Is Not for You If Your writing tends to be long-winded or reads like generic AI output. You need fully defined tasks and complete information before you can start. You prefer rigid structures and one narrow area of responsibility. Logistics Location: Remote, based in the Philippines Hours: About 10 hours/week, mostly async. Some overlap with the late afternoon and evening in US Eastern Time (early morning in the Philippines). Language: Fully fluent English
