About The Role We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to support our growing US residential construction projects. The ideal candidate must have direct experience working on US or Australian wood-frame residential homes and be capable of preparing complete house estimates , reviewing plans, coordinating projects, and supporting pre-construction through project completion. This role requires someone who understands the entire residential construction process—not just estimating, but how each trade works together throughout the project. Key Responsibilities Prepare complete estimates for US/Australian wood-frame residential homes. Review architectural, structural, and construction drawings. Perform quantity takeoffs and material takeoffs. Estimate framing, drywall, roofing, windows, doors, cabinetry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, insulation, and finishes. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Scopes of Work (SOW), and bid documents. Support project planning, scheduling, and procurement. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project managers. Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation. Track project progress and maintain accurate project records. Assist the Project Manager from pre-construction through project completion. Qualifications Experience in residential construction estimating or project coordination. Direct experience with US or Australian wood-frame residential construction is required. Experience preparing complete residential house estimates is required. Strong understanding of the residential construction process from foundation through project completion. Able to estimate framing, drywall, roofing, windows, doors, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and finishing works. Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications. Experience preparing BOQs, material takeoffs, Scopes of Work, and bid documents. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Able to work independently in a remote environment.
