• Hopwriter is looking for SHORT DRAMA EDITORS who are based in the Philippines to join our PH team. • We are looking for candidates who are fluent in English, deeply familiar with short drama trends in the Western market, and passionate about stories. • 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 • Script Writing: Write engaging and market-oriented episode scripts for short dramas. • Content Editing & Proofreading: Proofread and edit English content to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, emotional clarity, and consistency with team standards. • Creativity & Flexibility: Catch the inspiration and core charm of the original book and transfer it with more colorful plots into a more eye-catching short drama. • Script Polishing & Basic Feedback: Review episode scripts and provide clear, practical editorial feedback focused on plot setting, twists, and storyline. • Content Team Collaboration: Work closely with other editors and content team members on content strategy and special projects. • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular content checks and audits to maintain editorial quality and uphold platform guidelines. • 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 • Bachelor’s degree or above (any field) • Native or near-native English proficiency • Must have experience in writing and/or editing scripts. • Good sensitivity to language, narrative flow, and emotional tone • Solid editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail • Good communication skills and willingness to learn • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Must be based in the Philippines • 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 • Priority will be given to authors from our platform Hopwriter. • 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 • Experience as a scriptwriter/screenwriter or script editor is a MUST. • Please INCLUDE in your application your portfolio or a sample of your previous work, as well as proof of collaboration with other platform(s) or studio(s). • 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 • This is a full-time position based in the Philippines timezone.
