The Pricing Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing pricing solutions for Air Freight and Ocean Freight services. This role supports the Sales and Operations teams by preparing competitive quotations, analysing market conditions, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring profitable business growth while maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage customer quotations for Air Freight and Ocean Freight shipments. Analyse freight rates, market trends, and competitor pricing to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies. Obtain, negotiate, and maintain freight rates with airlines, shipping lines, and other logistics service providers. Support the Sales team with pricing proposals, tenders, and customer presentations. Coordinate with Operations and Procurement teams to ensure pricing accuracy and service feasibility. Maintain pricing databases, tariffs, and contract rates within company systems. Participate in RFQs (Requests for Quotation), RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and tender management processes. Monitor profit margins and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and internal stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics pricing, or transportation management. Strong understanding of Air Freight and Ocean Freight products, trade lanes, and carrier networks. Experience in freight rate negotiations and tender management. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management systems (TMS). Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
