American Power Solutions (APS) is looking for a highly skilled structural design engineer to support residential and commercial projects throughout California. If you have extensive experience in US structural engineering design, enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, and are looking for flexible remote work with long-term growth potential, we'd love to hear from you. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will: Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for residential and commercial projects. Design wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structural systems in compliance with California building codes. Produce complete structural construction documents and plan sets using AutoCAD and Revit. Prepare engineering calculations and technical documentation. Coordinate with a US-licensed Engineer of Record (EOR) for plan review and stamping. Participate in project coordination meetings and maintain timely communication with the US team during California business hours. Manage multiple projects while delivering accurate, high-quality work on schedule.
