About The Role The Publishing Virtual Assistant supports magazine, editorial, and publishing clients by managing content formatting, editorial calendars, proofreading coordination, and reader/subscriber support — while using AI tools to accelerate repurposing, tagging, and quality checks without sacrificing editorial judgment. Key Responsibilities Format and prepare manuscripts, articles, and layouts for print and digital publication Maintain and coordinate editorial calendars, ensuring deadlines are met across contributors and reviewers Coordinate proofreading and copyediting cycles, tracking revisions to closure Liaise with layout/design teams to ensure production-ready files Respond to subscriber and reader inquiries professionally and on-brand Repurpose print content into digital and social formats using AI-assisted tools Apply metadata and SEO tagging to digital publishing content AI Skillset - A MUST AI-assisted proofreading and copyediting (e.g., Grammarly AI or equivalent) AI-supported content repurposing across print, digital, and social formats AI-generated first-pass layout or visual asset drafts for designer review Comfortable prompting AI tools while retaining final editorial judgment Qualifications & Requirements Must-Have Qualifications Strong English proofreading and copyediting fluency Working familiarity with InDesign, Canva, or similar layout tools High attention to detail and consistency across long documents 2–4 years of experience in editorial, publishing, or content production support Ideal Candidate Profile Detail-obsessed — does not let inconsistencies or typos slide Comfortable with structured, cyclical work and firm publishing deadlines A genuine reader and writer, not just a task-executor Calm and steady under deadline pressure Uses AI as an assistant to judgment, not a replacement for it Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From Php42,500.00 per month Benefits Paid training Pay raise Work from home Application Question(s): Are you willing to work US hours?
