About Our Client: Our client is a well-established healthcare support organization serving healthcare providers in the United States. They specialize in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions, helping medical practices optimize their billing operations, improve reimbursement processes, and enhance overall financial performance. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Manager to lead a high-performing team supporting a Gastroenterology (Gastro) Revenue Cycle Management account. Job Summary The Medical Billing Manager is responsible for leading and supervising a team of Medical Billing Specialists, ensuring efficient billing operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and excellent client service. This role is ideal for professionals with strong leadership experience in US medical billing , particularly in Gastroenterology (Gastro) Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) . Key Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and mentor a team of Medical Billing Specialists by providing guidance, training, and ongoing support. Communicate and facilitate client requests, special projects, and operational reports. Assign workloads, establish priorities, and monitor team performance to ensure productivity, quality, and accuracy. Develop, implement, and improve billing policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Review and approve billing documentation while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines, payer requirements, and regulatory standards. Manage accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding balances and initiating collection efforts as needed. Analyze billing trends and operational data, providing recommendations for process improvements and client success. Stay updated on healthcare billing regulations, coding updates, and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a Health-related course, or a related field is preferred but not required. At least 3–5 years of experience in Medical Billing , with supervisory or managerial experience leading 20–50 team members . Experience handling a Gastroenterology (Gastro) account with full Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of US medical billing processes and the US medical insurance industry. Experience using medical billing software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is an advantage but not required.
