Responsibilities Depending on the role and client requirements, responsibilities may include: Estimating & Cost Planning • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates. • Analyze construction plans, specifications, and tender documents. • Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ). • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and project costing. • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. • Prepare tender submissions and supporting documentation. Drafting & Design • Produce detailed architectural and construction drawings. • Develop and modify plans using industry-standard software. • Create 2D and 3D models based on project requirements. • Coordinate revisions and updates based on client feedback. • Ensure drawings comply with relevant construction standards and regulations. Tendering & Commercial Support • Source and review tender opportunities. • Prepare tender submissions and pre-qualification documents. • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. • Support commercial and project teams with documentation and reporting. Construction Administration • Assist with project documentation and coordination. • Monitor project timelines and deliverables. • Liaise with clients, consultants, councils, certifiers, and contractors. • Maintain project records and construction documentation. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in construction, estimating, drafting, quantity surveying, tendering, or related disciplines. • Experience supporting Australian and/or UK construction projects is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of residential, commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects. • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Software Experience (One or More) • Microsoft Excel • Other construction estimating or drafting software Nice to Have • Experience with Australian National Construction Code (NCC). • Experience with UK construction contracts and tendering processes. • Quantity Surveying background. • Residential home building experience. • Commercial or civil construction experience. • Experience working directly with international clients.
