Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our TechOps team. In this role, your primary focus will be serving as the subject matter expert for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , while providing secondary support for Microsoft Azure . Reporting directly to the Director of TechOps, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of GCP environments, from architecture and setup to administration and ongoing maintenance. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure is secure, performant, and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities GCP Infrastructure Management: Lead setup, administration, and maintenance of GCP projects and services. Architecture & Scoping: Design scalable, cost‑effective cloud architectures and scope new projects. Core Cloud Services: Manage networking (VPCs, firewalls, load balancing, peering) and complex IAM configurations. Billing & Cost Optimization: Monitor spend, implement budget alerts, and optimize consumption. Secondary Azure Support: Provide administration and maintenance for Azure environments. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with DevSecOps and InfoSec teams to ensure performance and compliance. Monitoring & Maintenance: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for high availability. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on cloud engineering experience, with a strong focus on GCP. Active GCP Professional Certification preferred (Cloud Architect, Network Engineer, or Security Engineer). Proven professional experience with Microsoft Azure. Deep expertise in GCP compute, storage, networking, and security services. Strong IAM and enterprise billing management experience. Ability to collaborate across TechOps, InfoSec, and DevSecOps with a security‑first mindset. Excellent troubleshooting skills under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Experience in agency or marketing technology environments. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
