Location: Work from Home (required to work onsite once office is stablish in Manila Philippines) Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Construction Job Overview We are seeking a high-performing, commercially sharp Sales Manager with a proven track record of driving revenue growth within the Australian construction sector. In this role, you will lead our sales strategy, secure high-value commercial/residential contracts, and expand our market footprint. The ideal candidate possesses a strong, aggressive background in B2B sales , a deep understanding of the Australian building landscape (including state-specific regulations), and an established network of Tier 1/Tier 2 builders, developers, architects, and sub-contractors. Key Responsibilities Pipeline \& Revenue Growth: Identify, target, and secure new project pipelines, commercial tenders, and major construction contracts to meet and exceed annual revenue targets. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain deep, long-term partnerships with developers, main contractors (builders), project managers, and procurement teams across the region. Tender \& Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation of comprehensive, competitive tenders, pricing structures, and project proposals in alignment with estimating and engineering teams. Market Strategy: Analyze Australian construction market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming infrastructure/housing projects to position our business aggressively. Contract Negotiation: Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, ensuring profitable margins while managing risk and compliance with Australian Standards (AS) and local building codes. CRM \& Reporting: Maintain accurate forecasting pipelines using CRM software (Oddo). Required Experience \& Skills Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum of 10\+ years of professional sales experience, with at least 5\+ years spent successfully selling within the Australian construction, building materials, or civil engineering space . Industry Network: An active, existing rolodex of industry contacts (Tier 1/2/3 builders, developers, or consultants) within Australia. Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to read, interpret, and accurately price construction drawings, blueprints, and tender scopes. Communication Mastery: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Ability to speak confidently with both on-site Project Managers and corporate C-suite executives. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and relevant state building authorities. Mobility: Valid Australian Driver’s License (frequent travel to client offices and active construction sites is required).
