Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SuiteScript development, code review, system integrations, and NetSuite customization. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in writing, reviewing, debugging, and optimizing code, with proven experience integrating NetSuite with external systems such as Salesforce and ServiceNow. This role will focus primarily on NetSuite development and integration, including designing and developing scalable solutions, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of customizations and integrations. Experience with SnapLogic or other middleware integration platforms is highly desirable. Responsibilities NetSuite Development & Coding · Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain SuiteScript 2.x solutions and other NetSuite customizations. · Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code based on business and technical requirements. · Develop and maintain custom records, workflows, RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce scripts, User Event scripts, Client scripts, and scheduled scripts as required. · Perform code reviews to ensure coding standards, quality, scalability, security, and performance. · Review existing scripts and customizations and recommend improvements, refactoring, or optimization where necessary. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex coding and system issues in NetSuite. · Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Integrations · Design, develop, and maintain integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and other third-party applications. · Develop and support integrations using SuiteScript, RESTlets, REST/SOAP web services, SuiteTalk, and middleware platforms. · Analyze integration architecture and data flows to ensure reliable and efficient exchange of data between systems. · Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures, data issues, and API-related problems. · Conduct testing and validation of integrations, including error handling and data integrity. · Work with middleware platforms such as SnapLogic, Celigo, Dell Boomi, or similar tools. · Support and maintain third-party bundles and SuiteApps such as Avalara, BlackLine, and NSPB. NetSuite Administration & Configuration · Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings in NetSuite. · Configure custom fields, forms, workflows, saved searches, and dashboards. · Support sandbox refreshes, release management, and post-upgrade testing. · Maintain system performance, data integrity, and reliability. Technical Support & Continuous Improvement · Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to NetSuite customizations and integrations. · Document technical solutions, scripts, integrations, and system changes. · Identify opportunities to improve existing code, automate processes, and enhance system performance. · Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure scalable and reliable NetSuite solutions. Qualifications Experience & Technical Skills · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. · 3-5 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite development, with strong experience in coding and customization. · Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x and JavaScript. · Proven experience writing, debugging, reviewing, and optimizing production-level code. · Demonstrated experience conducting or participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards. · Strong experience with NetSuite integrations and APIs, including SuiteTalk, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and RESTlets. · Proven experience integrating NetSuite with Salesforce and/or ServiceNow. · Experience with middleware/integration platforms such as SnapLogic, Celigo, or Dell Boomi is highly preferred. · Strong understanding of JSON/XML, SQL, API concepts, data mapping, and integration troubleshooting. · Experience with NetSuite modules such as Financials, Procurement, and Asset Management. · Experience with SuiteAnalytics. · Experience with third-party bundles and SuiteApps is an advantage.
