We're looking for an experienced Senior Ecommerce Bookkeeper to join our team and support a growing Australian ecommerce business. This is not an entry-level role, we're seeking someone who can confidently manage day-to-day bookkeeping with minimal supervision. Must-Have Requirements: Proven experience with Australian ecommerce businesses Strong hands-on experience using Xero Experience with Shopify bookkeeping and Shopify payout reconciliations Solid understanding of Australian GST and BAS preparation Experience with multi-currency bookkeeping (AUD, NZD, GBP, CLP, or other foreign currencies) Knowledge of inventory accounting, including COGS, inventory adjustments, stock journals, and landed costs Experience reconciling bank feeds, PayPal, Shopify Payments, and payment gateway clearing accounts Strong month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliation skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets Highly Preferred: Experience with A2X, Hubdoc, Dext, Stripe, Wise, or Airwallex Experience with Amazon or WooCommerce bookkeeping Cash flow forecasting and budget reporting experience Key Responsibilities Bank and payment gateway reconciliations Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable management Shopify sales reconciliation and posting to Xero Inventory and COGS journals Month-end reporting and financial reconciliations GST coding and BAS preparation support Maintaining accurate financial records and recommending process improvements We're looking for someone who is: Detail-oriented and highly organized Able to work independently Experienced in Australian ecommerce bookkeeping Proactive in identifying and resolving financial discrepancies To Apply: Please send your resume and a brief summary of your relevant experience to: mae081000@gmail.com Subject Line: Senior Ecommerce Bookkeeper Application
