Mooning
Mooning is a creative and advisory studio working across AI, emerging technology, and brand. Our clients are building things that don't have a playbook yet, and our content needs to look like it. We're looking for a photo retoucher who takes the craft seriously. Someone who knows what a well-retouched image actually looks like and can get there without being told twice. What you'll be doing Retouching product, portrait, and campaign imagery across client projects Frequency separation, dodge and burn, skin retouching, colour grading Working from briefs or reference images to match a defined look Delivering layered PSDs alongside flattened exports Communicating turnaround times and flagging issues before they become problems What we're looking for You need to have done this before. Not edited a few photos in Lightroom before, but retouched images professionally, with clients, to brief. Demonstrated experience retouching images across at least two of these: product, portrait, fashion, editorial, lifestyle Strong command of Photoshop, including non-destructive techniques A precise eye for colour, skin tone, and consistency across a set Ability to read a reference and replicate an aesthetic without supervision Clean file management and organised delivery Your portfolio A portfolio is required to be considered for this role. We need to see retouching work specifically, not just finished photography. Before/after examples are welcome. If you don't have a portfolio ready, we're not the right fit for each other right now. The work Project-based to start, with consistent volume for the right person. Briefs vary, clients are professional, and timelines are reasonable. We move quickly and expect the same.
