Job Description We are looking for a forward-thinking Software Quality Engineer (QE) to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you won't just be checking boxes or running manual scripts; you will be the ultimate champion of software quality. You will design robust automation frameworks, validate complex APIs, and leverage cutting-edge AI testing tools to optimize our deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate possesses a deep foundational knowledge of traditional QA methodologies but is passionate about leveraging automation and AI to accelerate release cycles without sacrificing quality. Key Responsibilities Core Quality Engineering: Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including creating comprehensive test plans, writing test cases, risk assessment, and defect tracking. Test Automation: Design, scale, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for APIs, DB, web, mobile, or desktop applications using modern tools. API Validation: Perform deep-dive API and integration testing, verifying data integrity, security, and performance across backend microservices. AI-Driven Testing: Evaluate and integrate emerging AI-powered testing tools (e.g., AI test generators, self-healing scripts, visual regression bots) to increase test efficiency and accuracy. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites directly into modern DevOps CI/CD pipelines to achieve true continuous testing. Collaboration: Partner closely with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers to identify vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of dedicated experience in Software Quality Engineering or Test Automation. API Testing Expertise: Extensive experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or code-based libraries (e.g., Python requests, REST Assured). AI Tooling Awareness: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI/ML-assisted testing concepts, prompt engineering for test case generation using Claude, Codex, or Gemini, or familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot, Testim, or Applitools. Database & Environment: Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and familiarity with Git version control. Programming Languages: Solid coding foundations in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java. Automation Stack: Proven proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. Soft Skills: Exceptional debugging, analytical, and communication skills to clearly articulate technical issues with global development teams.
