About 1000 Miles Limited 1000 Miles Limited is a gift solutions company supplying customized and licensed products — including socks, jewellery, novelty items, stationery, games, and seasonal gifts — to chainstores and wholesalers internationally. Job Summary We are looking for a driven, proactive Business Development Representative to grow our customer base and increase sales revenue. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in sales — whether you already have sales experience or are eager to build a career in it. You will manage relationships with chainstore and wholesaler customers, actively prospect for new business, and take ownership of the full sales process from first contact to closed deal. Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow assigned accounts, developing strategies to increase overall sales revenue. • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to find and win new customers. • Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to build relationships, follow up on leads, and close sales. • Understand and manage the full sales process — from prospecting and quotation through to negotiation and closing. • Learn and confidently use company sales tools and systems (e.g. Odoo, Airtable, CRM), adapting quickly to new platforms and technology, including AI-powered sales tools that help you work smarter and faster. • Take initiative — spot opportunities, flag problems early, and follow through without needing to be told. What We’re Looking For • A genuine interest in sales and a strong drive to succeed; prior sales experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. • Working knowledge of sales principles and the sales process, or a strong willingness to learn quickly. • Confident, friendly communicator who is comfortable picking up the phone and calling customers. • Tech-savvy and adaptable — quick to learn new software, systems, and AI-powered tools. • Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and a results-driven mindset. • Good written and spoken English; Chinese language ability is a plus.
