About The Role We're hiring a Remote Insurance Sales \& Quoting Specialist to support a busy Michigan based insurance agency. This is a hands-on production role: quoting, calling, selling, follow up, and customer service. We're looking for someone who can step in and contribute quickly - this is not an entry-level training role. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls and handle prospect and client enquiries professionally Conduct high-volume outbound calling and follow-up across lead lists (new / old / hot / cold) Quote insurance policies accurately and efficiently (daily production expectation) Sell policies over the phone: overcome objections, build trust, and close Follow up on open quotes until resolution (sold, not interested, no response, etc.) Reach out to existing clients to update files, confirm details, and maintain clean records Support lead handling from Facebook and other digital channels, including basic management/admin Log activity, notes, and outcomes clearly in the CRM and quoting systems Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 1\. Insurance Quoting Experience Hands-on insurance quoting experience is mandatory — you must have regularly quoted policies as part of your role (not just admin/support). You can confidently explain your quoting workflow end-to-end: intake - data gathering - running quotes - presenting options - closing - documentation. 2\. Tools \& Systems Experience You must have recent working experience using at least 3 of the tools listed in the Tools \& Systems section, and be comfortable learning the rest quickly. Phone-Based Sales Performance Proven ability to sell on the phone, with strong follow-up habits. Comfortable with high activity: frequent dialing, consistent follow-ups, and working toward clear sales outcomes. Confident objection handling and closing ability (not just quoting and sending it over). 4\. English \& Communication Excellent spoken English (clear, confident, easy to understand) and strong written English. Professional tone and the ability to sound warm, upbeat, and trustworthy on calls. 5\. Personality \& Work Style Upbeat, self-motivated, and competitive in a positive way ("competitive with a smile"). Organised and detail-oriented — accurate data entry and clean client files matter in insurance. Reliable remote worker with strong consistency and follow-through.
