About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join a fast-growing financial services organization. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting software, hardware, network systems, and critical technology solutions. The role combines systems analysis, software development, system integration, technical support, and business analysis, with a strong focus on financial markets and trade workflows. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop robust solutions, analyze complex system integrations, and support the continuous improvement of the organization's technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications, in-house systems, hardware, and network solutions. Analyze and implement complex business system integrations and interfaces. Design, develop, and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, Web Services, and related technologies. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for critical systems and applications. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements. Contribute to the development of technology products and solutions supporting financial-market operations. Analyze and support systems involved in trade workflows and financial-market processes. Gather, document, and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members. Contribute to Agile/Lean practices and continuous delivery and improvement initiatives. Create and maintain technical and system documentation. Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational processes. Manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, Senior Systems Analyst, or similar technical role. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with complex business system integrations. Strong knowledge of: .NET C\ C++ JavaScript Experience developing or supporting interfaces using REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services, or similar integration technologies. Strong SQL knowledge, including queries, stored procedures, triggers, and SSRS. Previous experience working within financial markets, with a strong understanding of trade workflows. Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies and continuous delivery practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Strong requirements-gathering and technical documentation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Python programming. Experience with Advent Geneva. Experience with FIX Protocol. Experience with trading platforms such as Bloomberg EMSX, ULLINK, or IRESS. Previous Business Analysis experience. Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, and participating in code reviews.
