Position Type: Full-Time Location: Philippines (Remote) Schedule Monday-Friday, Regular PH work hours with occasional US PST time meetings and training About The Role We are looking for a Video Editor to provide video editing services and support the team across multiple educational content projects. The role will work closely with the Team Lead to edit and refine video deliverables, ensuring each output is organized, accurate, and aligned with the provided instructions, templates, and production standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in handling multiple video deliverables at once, particularly within music education or instructional content. Responsibilities Multicam Video Syncing: Proficiently use DaVinci Resolve to sync 5 to 9 camera video files with corresponding audio. Picture-in-Picture Layout Editing: Make adjustments to multiclip nests as needed to create picture-in-picture layouts based on provided instructions and templates. Word Highlighting Animation: Create word highlighting animations and adjust timing to sync accurately with singing performances. Live Cut Refinement: Review pre-livecut content and adjust missed timed cuts, switch angles as needed, and add music, sound effects, transitions, and graphics as instructed. Graphic Notation Integration: Add graphic notation files to lessons and ensure they are properly synced with the performance being played. Deliverable \& Project Organization: Keep track of multiple deliverables both inside DaVinci Resolve and through spreadsheets or project management tools. Remote Team Collaboration: Work remotely in both asynchronous and synchronous settings with a team operating in PST time. Competencies and Qualifications Must-Have Proficient in DaVinci Resolve, with access to a personal account. High-speed and reliable internet connection. Prior experience in video editing, particularly on projects with multiple deliverables. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and keep NLE project files clear, structured, and easy to navigate. Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to apply a strong working knowledge of music theory, rhythm, and musical structure to edit music education content effectively, including: Maintaining accurate timing and alignment with musical performances Supporting clarity of instruction through thoughtful visual pacing and cuts Enhancing the learning experience for students through precise and intentional editing choices Nice-to-Have Experience utilizing remote access workflows, such as Parsec or Jump Desktop. Experience using Slack for team communication. Experience using Asana or other task management software. Open mindset with flexibility in workflow and release schedules.
