Job Summary The Training Technical Writer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving high-quality learning materials, process documentation, and technical content that support onboarding, training, and operational excellence. This role collaborates closely with Training, Operations, Product, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex processes into clear, engaging, and user-friendly documentation. Key Responsibilities Content Development Develop, edit, and maintain training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, user guides, and reference materials. Translate technical and operational processes into clear, concise, and learner-friendly documentation. Ensure all training materials align with organizational standards, branding, and compliance requirements. Update documentation based on process changes, product enhancements, and client requirements. Apply instructional design principles to improve learner comprehension and engagement. Collaboration & Documentation Partner with Training, Operations, Product, Quality, and SMEs to gather technical information and validate content accuracy. Participate in process walkthroughs and stakeholder meetings to document workflows and best practices. Maintain document version control and ensure content remains current and accessible. Support new program launches by developing training documentation within established timelines. Recommend improvements to documentation processes and knowledge management systems. Quality & Continuous Improvement Conduct regular audits of training content to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collect feedback from trainers and learners to improve documentation quality. Identify documentation gaps and proactively create new learning resources. Utilize AI-assisted content creation tools and documentation platforms to improve efficiency while ensuring quality and accuracy. Support organizational knowledge management initiatives and content governance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Education, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in technical writing, training content development, instructional design, or knowledge management. Experience supporting BPO, customer experience, SaaS, technology, or shared services environments is preferred. Excellent written English with exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and documentation platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools. Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools and content management best practices is an advantage. Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
