Location: Remote, Philippines preferred Type: Full time contractor Reports to: Founder (Berlin) Support: In-house developer available for technical work ABOUT REELSTACK ReelStack (reel-stack.com) is the home for AI filmmakers: a creator directory, a jobs board, a marketplace, a free toolkit and monthly awards, all in one platform. Around 600 filmmakers have joined and 46 free browser tools are live. We are past "does this work" and into "make this grow without the founder." That is the job. THE ROLE IN ONE SENTENCE You own growth. You would be the main person in charge of this platform: not building it, we have developers for that, but deciding where it goes and making it happen. Nobody will send you a daily task list. You get goals, tools and a budget, and you decide how. TWO KINDS OF PERSON, AND WE MEAN BOTH You set the direction. You arrive with your own view of how this grows, you decide what is worth doing, and you tell us what to build, what to spend on and who to hire next. Or you run a plan we set. You take a direction from us and execute it properly and consistently, and you tell us when something is not working. Both are real hires, at different levels, and we are genuinely happy with either. Tell us plainly which one you are. Your background does not matter to us. Marketing, SEO, content, sales, IT, community, operations, design, something else. We are not looking for one type of person. What matters is that you bring something you already know how to do, and that you can show what it would do for this platform. WHERE WE ARE GOING The immediate goal is revenue, as soon as it is realistically possible. The bigger goal is to be the best marketplace for AI creators: the place where they are found, and where they sell their own products. Money could come from several directions and we are not fixed on any of them: affiliate marketing, premium job postings, sponsorship deals, a commission on what creators sell, or something you can see that we have not listed. Deciding which of those to chase first, and what to leave until later, is a large part of the job. WHAT THE ROLE OWNS There is more here than one person can do at once, so the order you choose matters more than any single item on this list: - Creators: getting AI filmmakers onto the platform, uploading work, entering the awards, listing products in the marketplace - Demand: agencies, production companies and brands who post paid briefs, and sponsors for the toolkit - Content and search: articles, the AI tool database, anything that brings people in without us paying for them - Community and competitions: the monthly Film of the Month cycle, creator spotlights, whatever else earns attention - ReelStack's own presence on LinkedIn, X and Instagram, separate from the founder's channel - AI: designing the workflows that carry the volume, writing the prompts, and reviewing the output before anything goes public - Reporting weekly on what moved and what did not, and saying so when something is not working Nobody expects all of it at once. What we are looking for is someone who can weigh these against each other, decide what comes first, say what waits, and then run it. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE The shape depends on the priorities you set, but roughly: Months 1 to 2: your first workflows running and something measurably moving, whether that is briefs, marketplace products, traffic or creators Months 3 to 4: the marketplace filling up, a channel producing results without the founder's YouTube channel behind it, and the awards running without the founder Months 5 to 6: real revenue arriving from at least one of the streams above, and growth that clearly does not depend on the founder WHO THIS IS NOT FOR You will not enjoy this role if you want a daily task list, if you want to specialise so narrowly that nothing else is your problem, or if you are uncomfortable being measured on outcomes rather than hours. Requirements Must have - A track record of moving a number in something, whatever the discipline. The field matters less to us than the result - Demonstrated hands on use of AI tools in real work - Excellent written and spoken English - Reliable internet and a setup for calls - 4 or more hours per day overlapping European business hours Nice to have - Familiarity with AI video tools (Runway, Sora, Veo, Kling, Midjourney, ComfyUI) - Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier or similar - A background in film, video or creative production - Anything you are genuinely expert in that we have not thought of Not required - Coding. A developer supports you. You do need to describe clearly what you want built and why. WHAT WE OFFER - Full ownership of a growth function at an early stage platform - Direct access to the founder, no layers - Developer support for anything technical - A separate monthly budget for tools and AI credits - Flexible hours, measured on outcomes - Long term contract, reviews at 3 and 6 months Compensation , TWO LEVELS We are open on level, and the presentation task decides which one you are. Running a plan we set: PHP 20,000 to 30,000 per month. We agree the direction, you execute it properly and consistently. Setting the direction: PHP 30,000 to 50,000 per month, plus commission: 10 percent of the first three months of any sponsor deal you source, and PHP 1,000 for every paid job brief you get posted and filled. You decide what we do and you are accountable for it moving. At both levels there is a separate monthly budget for the AI tools and credits you need, which is not part of your pay. Shortlisted candidates build a short presentation on what they would do with the platform and walk us through it in a 5 minute Loom.
