Job Description

Job Description The Operations Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting hotel operations through data analysis, performance reporting, strategic planning, and operational coordination across multiple hotel assets. This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights, monitoring business performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and driving operational efficiencies through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and profitability goals. Strategy & Operational Support Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budget guidance, templates, KPI reports, and financial planning documents. Provide benchmarking analysis and comparative performance data from competitor hotels and industry trends to support strategic planning and budgeting initiatives. Assist in developing standardized presentations for annual budgets, including benchmarking data, PESTLE analysis, and cost guidance. Support weekly operations meetings by preparing reports, documenting minutes, sharing best practices, and tracking operational initiatives. Conduct ad-hoc operational and financial analysis and provide recommendations to support decision-making by Hotel General Managers and leadership teams. Prepare and maintain weekly Food & Beverage profitability dashboards, including payroll forecasting and comparative performance analysis across hotel assets. Organize and facilitate monthly business review meetings, ensuring timely preparation and distribution of reports and presentations. Support the maintenance and enhancement of the central SharePoint document center, ensuring easy access to SOPs, templates, operational resources, and best practices. Guest Experience & Service Performance Compile and analyze weekly Online Reviews and Responses Reports (ORR), including metrics and reviews from platforms such as Google Reviews, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Booking.com, and Brand.com. Track review scores, pending responses, and reputation management trends, and distribute reports to hotel teams. Support the quarterly mystery guest assessment program by coordinating feedback, reviewing assessment content, and implementing approved updates. Coordinate communication and reporting between hotel teams and third-party guest experience providers. Track hotel action plans related to guest satisfaction initiatives and monitor progress and results. Participate in property visits and operational walkthroughs with leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities and operational gaps. Hotel Opening & Pre-Opening Support Support operational setup activities during hotel openings, including systems implementation, process coordination, and operational readiness. Assist with recruitment coordination and onboarding support for operational teams during pre-opening stages. Support the development of pre-opening operational strategies, including service standards, budgets, revenue targets, and operational checklists. Assist General Managers in establishing Food & Beverage operational strategies, target volumes, and revenue projections. Data & Performance AnalysisForecasting & Financial Analysis Review and analyze monthly profitability projections and forecasts for hotel properties. Assist with identifying variances, reviewing cost lines, and recommending corrective actions where necessary. OKR & KPI Management Collect, review, and validate hotel OKR (Objectives and Key Results) reports and supporting documentation. Compile and maintain monthly OKR dashboards and ensure timely reporting deadlines are met. Monitor performance trends and escalate significant variances or operational concerns to management. Prepare weekly, monthly, and month-to-date STR and performance dashboards for leadership review meetings. Operational Assessments & Compliance Conduct annual competitive operational assessments, including reviews of rooms, function spaces, and catering performance. Perform HR compliance audits and employee file spot checks to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and VP of Operations to monitor health and safety systems and identify areas for operational improvement. Business Review & Reporting Prepare monthly Business Review Meeting (BRM) presentation packs and standardized reporting templates. Compile and present cross-property financial and operational KPIs for leadership review. Analyze operational performance data and provide insights to support strategic business decisions. Systems, Training & Miscellaneous Support Support hotels during the rollout and implementation of new operational programs and systems. Provide basic system and platform training when required, including brand platforms, H&S systems, Flow Training Platform, and HotStats. Provide operational and administrative support coverage when required. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of operational and financial data across all reporting activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred. French speaking (required) Proven experience in hotel operations analysis, business reporting, hospitality operations, or a similar analytical role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large sets of operational and financial data. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools. Experience with hospitality systems, STR reporting, HotStats, SharePoint, and online reputation management platforms is an advantage. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of hospitality operations, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management is highly preferred. M to F, 3pm to 12am Manila Time
