The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms. You should have a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, along with a natural sense of humor, meme culture, and comedic timing . You are someone who actively uses social media and understands what makes content engaging and shareable. Key Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished videos for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Collaborate remotely with the creative/marketing team to understand project goals and deadlines Add music, sound effects, transitions, captions, memes, and motion graphics Apply strong storytelling and comedic timing to improve engagement Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratio, length, format) Stay up-to-date with social media trends and viral content styles Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Revise edits based on feedback Organize and maintain project files and assets Requirements Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required) Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Strong storytelling and pacing skills Familiarity with social media video trends and formats Naturally funny with a strong understanding of memes and comedic timing Active user of social media platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps recommended) Own equipment (capable editing PC/laptop) Strong communication skills in English Ability to work independently in a remote setup Preferred Qualifications Experience editing short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation Basic color grading and sound design skills Experience working with international clients or teams Work Setup Location: Remote (Philippines-based candidates only) Employment Type: \[Full-time / Part-time] Work Hours: EST timezone Compensation \& Benefits Salary Range: ₱20,000 – ₱35,000/month (based on experience) Paid time off / leave credits (for full-time roles) Opportunities for growth and long-term collaboration How To Apply Please submit the following: Your updated resume A portfolio or sample work (include projects that match the style of content you enjoy or specialize in) A list of YouTube channels, creators, or social media accounts you regularly follow , and the type of content you consume A 1-minute introduction video showcasing: Your personality Your editing style Your creativity and sense of humor Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: Php20,000\.00 - Php35,000\.00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Flextime Pay raise Work from home Work Location: Remote
