Job Summary The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing retail operations, sales performance, inventory management, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decision-making. The role works closely with Operations, Sales, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Management teams to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer experience across retail stores. Key Responsibilities Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain retail performance dashboards and reports. Monitor key retail KPIs such as sales growth, sell-through rate, inventory turnover, stock availability, and gross margin. Evaluate store performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve results. Gather and document business requirements for process improvements and system enhancements. Review and optimize retail workflows, policies, and operational procedures. Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities. Collaborate with Merchandising, Purchasing, and Operations teams to improve inventory management and replenishment processes. Conduct root cause analysis on sales gaps, stock shortages, and operational issues. Assist in implementing retail systems, automation projects, and business improvement initiatives. Prepare presentations and reports for management review and strategic planning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Retail Operations, Merchandising Analysis, or a related role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Experience with ERP, POS, inventory management systems, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable business insights.
