Job Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to build, enhance, and maintain high-quality Salesforce solutions that support core business processes and evolving platform needs. The role will translate approved functional and technical requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing solutions. You will play a key role in project delivery, custom Salesforce development, integrations, technical troubleshooting, testing, and continuous platform improvement. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce integrations, with a strong focus on code quality and reliable production delivery. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Development & Customization Build, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and other appropriate Salesforce capabilities. Develop custom solutions aligned with established technical and architectural standards. Work on Salesforce enhancements, platform improvements, and approved project initiatives. Project & Sprint Delivery Execute assigned development work within projects and sprints. Provide accurate technical estimates and consistently deliver committed sprint work. Communicate technical risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively. Code Quality & Engineering Standards Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate technical feedback. Follow established Salesforce coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines. Integrations & APIs Develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems. Work with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, middleware, and integration platforms. Support integrations involving tools such as Zapier, Jotform, Calendly, MuleSoft, or similar technologies. Testing & Release Quality Create and maintain appropriate Apex unit tests. Support functional and regression testing. Validate deployment readiness and help minimize post-release defects. Participate in release and deployment activities. Performance & Platform Optimization Develop solutions with Salesforce governor limits, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability in mind. Optimize queries, automation, and custom development where required. Support large-data-volume and performance-related improvements. Technical Debt & Platform Maintenance Help remediate technical debt, legacy code, inefficient automation, deprecated functionality, and other platform issues. Contribute to continuous improvements in Salesforce architecture and maintainability. Troubleshooting & Technical Support Diagnose and resolve complex Salesforce defects and technical issues escalated by Administrators or Operations. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement reliable, production-ready fixes. Partner with technical leadership when issues require deeper architectural review. Documentation Maintain technical documentation covering custom development, integrations, configuration dependencies, deployment considerations, and platform components. Ensure solutions are properly documented for long-term support and maintainability. Key Performance Indicators Low post-deployment defect rates and strong contribution to zero-defect releases. Consistent completion of committed development work. Technical estimation and sprint commitment predictability of 90% or higher. Adherence to Salesforce coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines. Zero avoidable critical governor-limit violations. Consistent progress on assigned technical debt, optimization, and platform-maintenance initiatives. Required Qualifications & Experience 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a structured business environment. Strong experience with: Salesforce Sales Cloud Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Salesforce Flows SOQL/SOSL Custom Salesforce development Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification is required. Platform Developer II and/or Platform App Builder certification is an advantage. Strong understanding of: Apex design patterns Asynchronous processing Salesforce governor limits Data modeling Sharing and security concepts Scalable Salesforce development practices Practical experience developing or supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, or similar technologies. Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills. Proven ability to deliver production-ready, reliable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions. Preferred / Additional Experience Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and Git-based development workflows. Hands-on experience with asynchronous Apex, including: Batch Apex Queueable Apex Schedule d Apex Platform Events Familiarity with third-party automation and integration tools such as Zapier, Jotform, Calendly, MuleSoft, or similar platforms. Understanding of automated testing, regression testing, deployment validation, and release processes. Knowledge of Salesforce performance optimization, query selectivity, bulkification, and large-data-volume considerations. Experience working with complex Salesforce data models while maintaining data integrity and quality. Strong analytical skills and attention to technical detail. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with Salesforce Administrators, Automation Specialists, technical leadership, and business stakeholders.
