A small, established U.S. services company is hiring a full-time Business Operations Manager in the Philippines. This is a hands-on operating role for someone who notices what is stuck, decides what should happen next, follows up with the right person, and closes the loop. You will personally protect customer follow-through, revenue visibility, routine financial hygiene, and day-to-day operating discipline. This is not a general virtual-assistant role, an oversight-only management role, or a technical accounting leadership position. You will work directly with the founder, but you will not wait for a daily task list. WHAT YOU WILL OWN Customer and revenue follow-through Keep customer status, onboarding, commitments, billing, collections, renewals, risks, owners, and next actions accurate. Pursue unresolved items with customers, staff, partners, and vendors until they are completed, deliberately deferred, or escalated with a recommendation. Make sure inquiries, purchases, invoices, payment questions, refunds, and renewals do not disappear between people or systems. Light bookkeeping and finance operations Maintain routine QuickBooks Online records, straightforward transaction coding, AP and AR tracking, invoice and payment matching, and basic bank and card reconciliations. Investigate ordinary billing, payment, cash, and reconciliation exceptions using source records. Maintain a practical cash and obligations view covering expected receipts, invoices, payroll inputs, rent, recurring bills, and unusual commitments. Coordinate with bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and accounting specialists and follow their open items to completion. Historical cleanup, formal close, tax work, and complex accounting remain specialist responsibilities. Operating discipline and founder visibility Maintain one dependable view of open work, owners, deadlines, risks, and next actions. Give the founder a concise weekly update covering facts, exceptions, decisions needed, owners, and deadlines. Build useful SOPs, checklists, dashboards, handoffs, and escalation rules after understanding the real work. Improve workflows and automation progressively. The role begins hands-on and may later lead additional support. FIRST 30 DAYS Success during the paid first month means demonstrated ownership and useful progress, not solving every inherited problem. The person should: Map customers, revenue flows, recurring obligations, systems, owners, and material risks. Establish one dependable follow-through system and a concise founder-communication rhythm. Organize routine bookkeeping and finance operations, resolve ordinary discrepancies within the role's scope, and create a clear handoff plan for specialist items. Document at least three priority SOPs and produce a practical improvement backlog. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Meaningful experience in business operations, customer operations, revenue operations, account management, implementation, practice or agency operations, or comparable work with real ownership. A record of personally rescuing stalled work, customer commitments, billing, collections, or cross-team problems. Hands-on familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Stripe, invoicing, AP, AR, reconciliation, or comparable finance workflows. Clear spoken and written English with U.S. customers and a founder. Sound judgment with customer, employee, and financial information. Comfort making a recommendation when facts are incomplete, while distinguishing facts from assumptions and escalating material risk. Interest in one primary long-term role, not another client added to a crowded schedule. A CPA is not required. We care more about judgment, personal execution, reliable follow-through, and the ability to explain how you think than a perfect title or résumé. PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENT Full-time primary commitment, 40 hours per week Eight working hours per day, Monday through Friday At least five consecutive working hours inside 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM U.S. Pacific, maintained on the Pacific clock throughout the year PHP 100,000 per month during the paid first 30 days PHP 120,000 per month beginning day 31 if employment continues and the published first-month outcomes are met 13th-month pay Long-term remote position in the Philippines Additional operating context shared during the interview process Do not send passwords, credentials, unredacted financial records, or confidential customer information at any stage. Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month Application Question(s): Tell us about one messy customer or operating problem that did not have a clear owner. What did you notice, what did you do, how did you decide what came first, and what happened? Describe the bookkeeping and finance-operations work you have personally performed. Include one actual invoice, payment, AP/AR, cash, or reconciliation mismatch you investigated and explain where your authority ended. It is Monday morning. A customer payment is not matched, one customer is waiting for an answer, a staff commitment has no owner, and the founder is unavailable until 1:00 PM. What would you do before noon, what would you avoid changing without approval, and what would you report at 1:00 PM? List every current job, client, business, or recurring obligation with weekly hours. State the exact eight working hours you would keep in U.S. Pacific time, including any break; your earliest start date; and whether you accept the stated PHP 100,000 to PHP 120,000 structure plus 13th-month pay. Work Location: Remote
