About The Role - SourceU is recruiting on behalf of an established Australian solar and battery installation business. Our client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Finance & Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines to support their remote financial operations. - To ensure a great fit, this role starts part-time (20 hours/week) for an initial 3-month period , with a guaranteed transition to full-time (40 hours/week) upon successful completion. Key Responsibilities - Using Xero , OpenSolar (invoice tracking), and ClickUp (inventory/job tracking), you will handle: - Accounts Payable & Bookkeeping: Process supplier invoices, manage payment runs, perform daily bank reconciliations, and handle accurate data entry. - Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end close and prepare cash flow analysis, profit & loss reports, and financial summaries. - KPI & Contractor Tracking: Monitor and report performance metrics, job completion timelines, and volumes for internal contractors and installers. - Payroll & Compliance: Manage payroll processing accurately each cycle and maintain records in line with Australian bookkeeping standards. - Inventory Oversight: Cross-reference inventory tracking in ClickUp with financial records to flag any stock discrepancies. - Accountability Framework: Provide brief, daily 2-3 line check-ins regarding progress and early escalation of blockers. - Key Skills and Attributes - Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 2 years preferred). - Strong proficiency in Xero (ready to use from Day 1). - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable making outbound calls to internal team members. - Experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, cash flow tracking, and payroll. - High attention to detail, with a proactive approach to flagging capacity or workflow blockers. - Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote work setup aligned with AEST business hours.
