We're looking for a hands-on Lead DevSecOps Engineer who can build security into every stage of our engineering lifecycle while helping our development teams become more secure, more automated and more productive. This is not a governance or policy role. You'll be writing code, building automation, securing cloud infrastructure, improving CI/CD pipelines and implementing continuous compliance across our AWS platform. You'll also act as the technical security leader within engineering, influencing best practice while remaining deeply hands-on. What You'll Be Doing Design, build and improve secure AWS cloud infrastructure. Embed security throughout our CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows. Develop security automation and continuous compliance tooling. Implement Infrastructure as Code security controls. Build and maintain security scanning, monitoring and remediation automation. Partner with engineering teams to improve secure development practices. Drive vulnerability management and cloud security improvements. Automate security wherever possible using scripting and modern tooling. Investigate emerging AI technologies that improve engineering and security productivity. Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with engineering work. Mandatory Experience To be successful, you'll demonstrate most of the following: Significant hands-on DevSecOps or Platform Security Engineering experience. Strong AWS experience in production environments. Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery platforms. Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or similar). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container security. Strong scripting or software engineering skills (Python, Go or similar). Experience implementing security automation and continuous compliance. Strong understanding of cloud identity, secrets management and infrastructure security. Ability to influence engineering teams through technical leadership rather than process. Experience working within modern SaaS or cloud-native environments. A genuine passion for AI and modern engineering practices. Highly Regarded Kubernetes security. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins. Vulnerability management and security scanning platforms. Open Policy Agent, Checkov, Trivy, Snyk, Wiz, Prisma Cloud or similar tooling. AWS security services. Compliance automation. Linux systems administration.
