About ExtraPro ExtraPro is building an AI-powered operating system and autonomous agent workforce for a premium B2B LED display and AV integration business. Our technology connects business data, workflows, and communications so teams can make faster decisions, execute reliably, and serve customers better. The opportunity We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist to work closely with our AI engineers and business teams. You will turn operational and customer data into trustworthy models, evaluation systems, and decision tools - and help us measure whether our AI agents are producing accurate, useful, and commercially meaningful results. What You Will Do ·Partner with AI engineers, product stakeholders, and business operators to turn ambiguous questions into measurable data-science problems. ·Explore, clean, join, and validate structured and unstructured data from CRM, sales, marketing, project delivery, customer communications, and AI-agent activity. ·Design metrics, benchmarks, and evaluation datasets for AI and agent workflows, including task success, factual accuracy, relevance, latency, cost, safety, and business impact. ·Build and validate statistical and machine-learning models for lead scoring, forecasting, prioritization, anomaly detection, recommendations, and workflow optimization. ·Design experiments and causal analyses to determine whether new models, prompts, features, and workflows create measurable improvement. ·Work with AI and data engineers to move prototypes into reliable production pipelines, services, dashboards, and monitoring systems. ·Analyze model and agent failures, identify data-quality or measurement gaps, and recommend practical improvements. ·Communicate findings, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. ·Establish reproducible practices for data preparation, feature definitions, model validation, documentation, and responsible data use. What we are looking for ·3+ years of professional experience in data science, applied statistics, machine learning, product analytics, or a closely related field. ·Strong Python and SQL skills, including experience working independently with messy, real-world data. ·A solid foundation in statistics, experiment design, hypothesis testing, model evaluation, and uncertainty. ·Experience building, validating, and explaining predictive or analytical models using pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or equivalent tools. ·Experience defining metrics and translating analysis into product, engineering, or operating decisions. ·Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, version control, testing, and cloud data platforms. ·The ability to communicate complex findings clearly and challenge assumptions - including your own - when evidence changes. ·Strong ownership, judgment, curiosity, and comfort working where problems may not arrive fully defined. Nice to have ·Experience evaluating LLM, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic systems using automated and human evaluation methods. ·Familiarity with prompts, embeddings, vector search, RAG, tool-calling, or model observability. ·Experience with causal inference, A/B testing, time-series forecasting, optimization, ranking, or recommendation systems. ·Experience with dbt, Spark, a cloud data warehouse, BI tools, MLflow, or similar data and ML infrastructure. ·Experience with CRM, sales, marketing, customer-success, operations, B2B technology, or another operationally complex industry. What success looks likeIn your first 90 days ·Learn ExtraPro's core data sources, AI workflows, business processes, and measurement gaps. ·Deliver a documented baseline for at least one high-priority AI or business workflow. ·Create an evaluation dataset or analytical model the engineering and business teams can use repeatedly. ·Establish a practical working rhythm with AI engineers for experiments, error analysis, deployment, and monitoring. Within your first year ·Give ExtraPro a trusted measurement framework for the quality and business impact of its AI agents. ·Ship models or decision tools that improve conversion, forecast accuracy, response quality, delivery reliability, or team productivity. ·Improve data quality and observability so teams can identify failures early and make decisions with confidence.
