Job Title: E-Commerce Video Editor (Virtual Assistant) Location: Remote Pay Rate: $5.00 / hour Job Type: Part-time or Full-time About The Role We are looking for a skilled, performance-driven E-Commerce Video Editor (Virtual Assistant) to produce high-converting multimedia content for online stores, marketplace listings, and digital advertising campaigns. Please note: This is NOT a general video editing position. We are specifically seeking a candidate with dedicated experience editing videos tailored for e-commerce platforms, product promotions, and conversion-focused social media ads. Key Responsibilities E-Commerce & Promo Content: Edit product advertisements, commercial reels, promotional videos, and high-converting YouTube thumbnails tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Amazon, and Shopify. Long-Form & Short-Form Editing: Produce polished short-form content (Reels/Shorts/TikToks) alongside long-form media (podcasts, tutorials, webinars, and vlogs). Post-Production Enhancement: Handle color grading, audio balancing, subtitles/captions, motion graphics, transitions, and text effects to elevate video production value. AI & Motion Tools: Utilize motion graphics principles and AI-assisted video creation tools to keep content modern and engaging. Collaboration & Workflow: Work closely with creative, copywriting, and marketing teams to meet campaign goals, maintain strict brand guidelines, and manage project files efficiently. Qualifications Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year of dedicated E-Commerce Video Editing experience (producing product ads, Amazon/Shopify promotional videos, e-commerce social ads, etc.). General video editing experience alone will not qualify. Technical Software Proficiency: Expert-level capability with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent video editing software. Core Skills: Strong grasp of visual storytelling, pacing, hook creation, motion graphics, and audience engagement tactics. Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills. Work Ethic: Strong time management, high attention to detail, and the ability to handle fast-paced turnarounds. Availability: Full-time availability; willing and able to work a graveyard shift schedule. Education: High School Graduate, College Undergraduate, or College Graduate.
