If you like being read carefully, and you've been wrong before and can say so, keep reading. What you'll do Turn messy client questions into defensible analyses - designed, executed, and written up. Choose methods that fit the question, and explain them in plain words to non-technical readers. Report what's true and what it means commercially - not just what's statistically significant. Pull your own data in SQL; do the analysis in Python. What we're looking for Python for analysis: pandas, numpy, and statsmodels or scipy. SQL good enough to get your own data without waiting on anyone. A degree or real training in a quantitative field - statistics, economics, psychology, epidemiology, or similar. Written English strong enough to be client-facing. Bonus: survey methodology, program evaluation, psychometrics, or published / client-facing writing.
