(Outsourced Accounting) – Remote (Philippines) Location: Remote – Philippines (Candidates must be based in the Philippines) About The Role We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join a growing outsourced accounting team supporting U.S.-based clients. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, team management experience, and the ability to oversee high-quality financial reporting and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate has a combination of public accounting (audit) and industry accounting experience, preferably with exposure to real estate or property management clients . Key Responsibilities Supervise and mentor accounting team members, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong client relationships. Review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting principles. Support financial reporting, data conversion, and accounting process improvements. Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure timely and accurate client deliverables. Identify accounting issues and provide practical recommendations and solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA license is highly preferred. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience . Previous Public Accounting (Audit) experience is required. Experience managing external clients in an outsourced accounting environment. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and Accrual Accounting . Hands-on experience with: Month-End Close Financial Statement Preparation Bank Reconciliations Balance Sheet Reconciliations Experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct . Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to mentor teams and maintain high-quality accounting standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with real estate, property management, or commercial real estate accounting . Combination of public accounting and corporate/industry accounting experience. Experience with multi-entity accounting and financial reporting. Work Schedule Split Shift: 1:00 AM – 7:00 AM PHT 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM PHT Weekends may be required during month-end close.
