Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Inpatient Medical Coder - Quality Assurance Specialist to support coding quality and accuracy through comprehensive reviews of inpatient medical records. This non-voice role is ideal for healthcare professionals with strong inpatient coding expertise and a commitment to maintaining coding standards and compliance. Key Responsibilities Review inpatient medical coding for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established guidelines. Identify coding discrepancies and provide appropriate recommendations for correction. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives by promoting coding accuracy and best practices. Collaborate with internal teams to help maintain high documentation and coding standards. Ensure assigned quality reviews are completed within required timelines. Qualifications Registered Nurse or graduate of a Medical Allied course. Active CCS, CPC, or CIC Certification with an inpatient coding focus. At least 1 year of recent clinical or hospital experience . Minimum of 3 years of inpatient coding experience , preferably with a background in inpatient auditing or quality assurance. Strong knowledge of medical coding guidelines, regulations, and documentation standards. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
