We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Electrical Industry Estimator Virtual Assistant with a strong background in Electrical Engineering or professional experience in the electrical industry . The ideal candidate understands electrical systems, materials, drawings, specifications, and project requirements and is comfortable supporting estimating, project coordination, documentation, and client communication . Electrical industry experience is REQUIRED. Candidates must have either a degree in Electrical Engineering or significant professional experience in the electrical industry . Candidates without an electrical background will not be considered. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate projects, follow up with contractors and vendors, and communicate professionally with U.S.-based clients are also essential. About the Client Our client is a growing U.S.-based company operating within the electrical and construction industry . The company is seeking a dedicated remote professional to support electrical estimating, project coordination, documentation, and communication. Compensation The monthly compensation for this position will be discussed based on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Electrical Estimating & Bid Support Review electrical plans, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents . Interpret electrical drawings and identify required materials, equipment, labor, and project requirements. Perform accurate electrical material and quantity takeoffs . Assist with preparing electrical estimates, bids, and proposals. Review scopes of work and identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential scope gaps. Obtain and compare pricing from electrical vendors and subcontractors. Verify quantities, measurements, specifications, and pricing before bid submission. Maintain organized estimating files and bid documentation. Complete estimates and bids accurately within established deadlines. Project Coordination Support Assist with the coordination of electrical construction projects. Track project schedules, tasks, materials, and outstanding items. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and project stakeholders. Follow up on materials, pricing, deliveries, schedules, and project requirements. Identify potential issues affecting project costs, schedules, or scope and escalate them promptly. Maintain accurate project records and status updates. Provide technical and administrative support to the project team. Client & Vendor Communication Communicate professionally with U.S.-based clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Respond promptly to project-related questions and requests. Gather missing information and clarify project scope when necessary. Follow up regarding pricing, materials, schedules, and outstanding requirements. Provide clear project updates. Handle phone calls professionally during agreed working hours. Administrative & Data Management Maintain accurate project, estimating, vendor, and customer information. Organize drawings, specifications, estimates, proposals, and project documents. Update spreadsheets, estimating systems, CRM platforms, and project management software. Maintain organized digital records. Prepare reports and project updates. Perform administrative tasks related to electrical projects and construction operations. Qualifications Electrical Engineering degree OR significant professional experience in the electrical industry. Experience in electrical engineering, electrical contracting, electrical construction, electrical estimating, or electrical project coordination . Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, plans, drawings, specifications, and terminology . Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and plans . Understanding of electrical project execution and construction processes. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Comfortable coordinating projects and following up with clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Previous electrical estimating or quantity takeoff experience is highly preferred . Experience with U.S.-based electrical or construction projects is an advantage. Familiarity with estimating/takeoff software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms is an advantage. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Excel . Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and learn new systems and software. Experience working remotely with international teams is an advantage. Requirements Full-time, 40 hours per week. Full availability is required. Must be able to start ASAP . Currently employed candidates will not be accepted. Candidates currently working part-time or freelancing will not be accepted . Candidates with active clients, side jobs, or other professional commitments that may interfere with this position will not be considered. Must be able to commit fully to the required work schedule. Reliable computer and stable internet connection. Quiet workspace suitable for phone calls and virtual meetings. Noise-canceling headset. Webcam for meetings and online communication. Comfortable using activity/time tracking software and periodic screenshots for work visibility. Must be willing to work according to the client's required U.S. business hours.
