We are looking for a Social Media Analyst Intern to help us understand how our social media channels are performing, what content resonates with our audiences, and how we can improve our online presence. Role Overview The Social Media Analyst Intern will support Kalin's growth and marketing team by monitoring social media performance, analyzing audience engagement, identifying trends, and turning social media data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, analytics, content trends, and understanding audience behavior . Key Responsibilities Monitor and track Kalin's social media performance across relevant platforms. Track key metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, followers, clicks, and other relevant KPIs. Analyze social media posts to identify high-performing and underperforming content. Identify patterns in audience engagement and behavior. Monitor comments, questions, reactions, and other forms of audience feedback. Research current social media trends relevant to caregiving, families, healthcare, and technology. Monitor competitor social media accounts and content strategies. Identify opportunities to improve Kalin's content and social media presence. Maintain social media analytics trackers and reports using Google Sheets or Excel. Prepare weekly or regular summaries of social media performance. Provide data-informed recommendations for future content and campaigns. Support the team in testing different content formats, topics, and messaging. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field . Strong interest in social media and digital marketing. Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis. Strong attention to detail. Good research and analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Comfortable using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. Curious, proactive, organized, and willing to learn. Able to work independently and meet deadlines. Nice to Have Experience using Meta Business Suite or other social media analytics platforms. Basic understanding of social media KPIs. Experience creating social media reports or dashboards. Familiarity with Canva or other content creation tools. Experience managing a personal, school, organization, or business social media account.
