We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine your technical knowledge with strong sales skills to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements. FULL TIME POSITION Working from home You will work closely with prospective clients, estimators, and operations to ensure successful project outcomes while achieving sales targets. Job Description Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial painting, new construction, fit-outs, remedial works, maintenance, and defence sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand customer requirements. Review quotations, proposals, and tender submissions with the estimating team. Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities. Coordinate with estimators and operations to ensure seamless project handovers. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. · Key Skills/Competencies Previous experience in technical sales, business development, construction, engineering services, or commercial painting. Solid understanding of commercial construction processes and architectural drawings. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to develop long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience using CRM or job management software such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Trello, or similar (highly regarded). Previous exposure to the commercial construction or painting industry is highly desirable.
