About The Role Fashion Times is looking for an experienced Reddit & Social Media Manager to grow our online presence, drive audience engagement, and increase referral traffic across Reddit and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate is an active Reddit user with established Reddit accounts that have significant Karma, understands Reddit communities and etiquette, and knows how to promote content organically without violating subreddit rules. In addition to Reddit, you'll also manage our social media channels and help expand our digital reach. Key Responsibilities Share and promote Fashion Times content across relevant Reddit communities while following subreddit guidelines. Leverage existing Reddit accounts with strong Karma and posting history to maximize visibility and engagement. Research and identify trending topics and relevant subreddits within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, and related niches. Build relationships with Reddit communities through authentic participation and engagement. Monitor Reddit discussions and identify opportunities for content promotion. Manage and grow Fashion Times' presence across social media platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Create engaging social media posts that drive traffic and audience interaction. Monitor social media trends, conversations, and analytics to improve performance. Collaborate with editors and writers to promote breaking news, features, and evergreen content. Track and report on Reddit and social media performance using analytics tools. Requirements Proven experience managing Reddit accounts with significant Karma (please include your Reddit username(s) or screenshots of your Karma during the application process). Strong understanding of Reddit culture, subreddit rules, moderation practices, and best practices for organic engagement. Experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand, publisher, or media company. Excellent written English and communication skills. Strong understanding of digital publishing, audience growth, and content marketing. Ability to identify trending topics and engage with online communities professionally. Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools is a plus. Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with online news publications or digital media. Knowledge of SEO and content promotion strategies. Experience using Reddit for content marketing and audience development. Passion for fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, and trending news.
