Job Title: Persian/Farsi Transcriber (Entry-Level) We are seeking a detail-oriented and fluent Persian/Farsi Transcriber to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a native or near-native speaker to contribute to high-quality data processing and localization projects. You will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into accurate written text, ensuring linguistic nuances and formatting standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities Audio Transcription: Convert audio and video recordings from Persian (Farsi) into high-quality written text. Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Time-Stamping: Apply precise time-stamps to transcripts according to project-specific guidelines. Speaker Identification: Correctly identify and label different speakers within a conversation. Guideline Adherence: Follow strict formatting and style guides provided for each specific project. Requirements & Qualifications Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Persian (Farsi). Strong command of written Persian, including formal and informal registers. English Skills: Good understanding of English to follow project instructions and communicate with the team. Technical Skills: Proficient typing speed and comfort using basic transcription software or text editors. Attention to Detail: Ability to distinguish between similar-sounding words and capture nuances in different dialects. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is a plus but not required.
