Remote Social Media & Content Research Specialist Job Type: Full-Time | Independent Contractor Schedule 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST About The Role A creative and trend-savvy Social Media & Content Research Specialist is needed to support a growing beauty and fashion creator brand. This role focuses on researching trends, planning engaging content, managing social media, and helping grow the creator's online presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle space, stays ahead of social media trends, and enjoys discovering content ideas that resonate with online audiences. They are organized, proactive, and passionate about helping creators build an engaging and consistent brand. Key Responsibilities Content Research & Trend Analysis Research beauty, fashion, and lifestyle trends across social media platforms. Monitor creators, brands, and competitors for emerging content ideas. Identify trending products, sounds, formats, and viral content opportunities. Provide creative recommendations that align with the creator's brand and audience. Social Media Support Assist with content planning and weekly content calendars. Help develop strategies to increase audience engagement and follower growth. Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm changes, and social media best practices. Support day-to-day social media management and publishing. Content Organization & Publishing Organize content assets, photos, videos, and creative files. Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms. Maintain content calendars and posting schedules. Ensure brand consistency across all channels. Performance Tracking & Reporting Monitor engagement, reach, and content performance. Track audience growth and identify successful content trends. Prepare simple performance reports and actionable recommendations. Suggest improvements based on analytics and audience behavior. Creative Support Brainstorm content ideas, campaign concepts, and series. Assist with product launches, collaborations, and brand partnerships. Support photoshoots, campaign planning, and content execution when needed. Collaborate closely with the creator to bring fresh ideas to life. Qualifications & Ideal Traits Must-Have Previous experience in Social Media Management, Content Marketing, or Digital Marketing. Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and current social media trends. Passion for beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and creator-led content. Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Preferred Experience supporting beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or personal brands. Familiarity with influencer marketing and creator partnerships. Experience using content scheduling, project management, and analytics tools. Basic photo or video editing experience is a plus. Understanding of social media growth strategies and audience engagement. Working Environment Fully remote role. Creative, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
