Remote About The Role We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing Product Innovation \& Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications that support Karmo’s operations and future growth. You’ll work across both front-end and back-end systems, collaborating closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable applications across the full stack (frontend, backend, and databases) with an AI-first development approach Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features on time Participate in the full software development lifecycle (planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) Contribute to system architecture and continuously improve engineering standards Ensure performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications Write and maintain unit and integration tests Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently Integrate third-party APIs and external services Maintain proper documentation for systems, architecture, and workflows Support and mentor junior developers when needed Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) Work closely with QA to improve test strategies and automation coverage Advocate for modern development practices and continuous improvement Key Success Areas Development excellence Cross-team collaboration Innovation and continuous improvement System reliability and performance Requirements Essential Skills \& Experience Strong experience in full-stack development Proficiency in: React (with Tailwind CSS) Node.js and TypeScript Next.js (full-stack implementation) Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and web services Experience with AWS or GCP and DevOps practices (e.g., Terraform) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment Nice to Have Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot) Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Familiarity with JIRA and QA collaboration processes Experience in startups or high-growth environments Background in automotive, mobility, or fleet industries Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Valid Driver’s License (required) Why Join Karmo?
