Position Title: CabMaster Production Drafter Schedule Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm VIC, AU Time or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PH Time Holiday to follow: VIC, AU Holidays Workdays: Mon - Fri Work Set-up: Work From Home or office. Work Details: Full-time About The Role Our Client is a premier integrated builder and developer in Victoria, Australia, delivering enduring architectural projects that span multi-residential, high-end homes, and projects for State and Federal Government, dedicated to delivering high-end, detailed residential and commercial joinery projects. They pride themselves on precision, craftsmanship, and innovation and are currently seeking a detail-oriented CabMaster Production Drafter with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team and bridge the gap between initial design concepts and flawless factory production. Key Responsibilities As our CabMaster Production Drafter, you will collaborate closely with our project managers, interior designers, and factory floor teams. Your primary objective is to translate creative architectural and interior design visions into precise, buildable, and highly efficient manufacturing documentation. Your Core Responsibilities: · Drafting & Detailing: Prepare highly detailed joinery shop drawings using CabMaster . · Design Translation: Take architectural and interior design concepts and develop them into comprehensive, buildable production drawings. · CNC Processing: Generate accurate, error-free CabMaster CNC-ready production files for our machinery. · Revision Control: Manage drawing revisions, track changes, and coordinate production releases while maintaining version control. · System Optimization: Maintain, update, and improve our CabMaster libraries, standard templates, and drafting processes to maximize efficiency. · Factory Liaison: Work closely with the factory and workshop teams to resolve production issues, clarify design intent, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. Skills Required The ideal candidate is not just a CAD operator, but a specialist with hands-on experience and a practical background in the cabinet-making and joinery industry. Your Skills & Qualifications: · Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience using CabMaster software within a joinery or cabinet manufacturing environment. · Construction Knowledge: A deep understanding of cabinet carcass construction, joinery methods, and hardware specification. · Technical Know-How: Sound knowledge of sheet materials (e.g., MDF, Plywood), hardware types, finishing options, and machining requirements. · Plan Interpretation: The ability to accurately read, understand, and interpret complex architectural and interior design documentation. · Communication & Mindset: Excellent communication skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
