Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

Job Overview The Assistant QA Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the QA team, helping manage a group of engineers, specialists, and testers. This role requires active participation in the software development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications to customers. You will assist in overseeing projects ranging from small to moderate complexity, ensuring that functional requirements are validated and verified while identifying defects. A strong “test-to-break” mindset is expected to uncover bugs, errors, failures, and security vulnerabilities, ensuring system reliability and performance. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in leading and mentoring the QA team to improve efficiency and support team growth Help coordinate and manage deliverables across multiple QA projects running in parallel Review and contribute to test plans based on requirements Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable test frameworks across the software development lifecycle Participate in both manual and automated testing activities Help define and enforce testing standards and automation coding practices, promoting continuous improvement Collaborate with development teams to ensure code is designed with test automation in mind Support the development of automated test suites to reduce manual testing efforts Assist in building frameworks for QA metrics and real-time reporting Coordinate with global QA teams and other departments to meet organizational standards Contribute to scaling automated testing within a continuous integration environment Support the evolution of testing strategies aligned with team and company goals Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent At least 3 years of managerial or team leadership experience in QA or software testing Required language(s): English both written and oral Hands-on experience with automated testing tools Experienced in SQL or automation scripting is an advantage Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test assets across complex, cross browser-based applications Excellent soft skills such as reporting, communication, etc. Experience in consistently delivering against agreed timelines Excellent problem-solving skills and good attention to detai Benefits Company Christmas gift Company events Flexible schedule Flextime Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for promotion Work from home Work Location: Remote
