Why You'll Love This Role Start as a Customer Service Officer and grow into a Fleet Support Officer Clear career progression pathway Full training provided Supportive and coaching-led culture Opportunity to work with a growing Australian business Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls and enquiries from the public, drivers, and contract clients as the first point of contact Create, amend, and confirm bookings, provide quotes, and share accurate service information Use active listening and questioning to quickly understand customer needs Navigate dispatch, booking, and tracking systems to manage jobs from start to finish Monitor job progress and proactively update customers on timing and changes Manage escalations and complex or emotional interactions professionally Maintain accurate and complete records of all interactions Support drivers with policies, procedures, and day-to-day operational enquiries Monitor live operations, track vehicles and bookings, and troubleshoot issues Use GPS tracking and operational tools to interpret driver and vehicle information Assist with hard-to-cover, specialist, or time-sensitive jobs Respond to driver emergencies and escalate incidents as required Log and follow up safety-alarm activations and complete required reporting Work autonomously while collaborating closely with team leaders and operations Qualifications \& Requirements Essential Preferably with Australian call centre experience Excellent spoken and written English with clear and confident phone communication At least 1 year of customer service experience in a contact centre, BPO, hospitality, retail, or similar environment Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to learn new systems quickly Proven ability to multitask and navigate multiple applications simultaneously Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Emotional resilience in a fast-paced environment Reliable home internet connection and professional remote work setup Availability to work a rotating roster aligned with Australian business hours Desirable Experience in a contact centre, dispatch, logistics, or transport-related role Familiarity with booking, dispatch, or fleet-tracking systems Conflict resolution or de-escalation experience Ability to work independently and deliver quality outcomes under pressure Benefits Company events Opportunities for promotion Promotion to permanent employee Work from home Application Question(s): Do you have Australian customer service or Australian call centre experience?
