Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is specialized in compensation and benefits accounting, a critical function that requires technical expertise in complex payroll, equity, and benefits-related transactions. The successful candidate will manage accounting for commissions, stock-based compensation, payroll journal entries, and benefit plan reconciliations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Duties & Responsibilities Commission Accounting: Track, validate, and record commission expenses; reconcile commission calculations against sales data and employee agreements; prepare commission payouts and supporting documentation Stock-Based Compensation: Account for equity grants; record periodic equity expense recognitions in accordance with ASC 718; maintain equity ledgers and support valuation analyses Payroll Journal Entries: Prepare monthly payroll accruals and journal entries; reconcile payroll account balances; ensure proper allocation of compensation costs across cost centers and departments Financial Reporting: Support month-end and quarter-end close processes; prepare compensation and benefits account reconciliations; prepare payroll data for capitalized software; contribute to internal and external financial statements Compliance & Documentation: Maintain organized documentation for audits; ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (ASC, FASB); support audit procedures and provide supporting schedules Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes; implement controls to enhance accuracy; work with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency Ad Hoc: Support annual tax compliance requests involving payroll, such as but not limited to, annual preparation of Federal and State tax returns, government census, and state and local tax compliance. Minimum Qualification Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and oral Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining the accuracy of required outputs High level of customer focus, self-directed, and can work with minimal supervision Experience with equity management platforms (e.g., Carta, E\ TRADE for Business) Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) or benefits administration platforms Experience working with financial statement audits Knowledge of tax implications related to equity and compensation Education & Work Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, must be a CPA 3+ years of audit and accounting experience focused on compensation, benefits, or payroll accounting Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite); strong Excel skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month Benefits Company Christmas gift Company events Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for promotion Work from home Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: US Accounting - Payroll, Benefits, Taxation and Audit: 2 years (Required) Accounting - Payroll and Benefits: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
