We are actively building a talent pool of premier Remote Real Estate Trust Accountants for upcoming opportunities with our expanding Australian property clients. In this role, you will ensure our clients' financials remain flawless, compliant, and perfectly balanced—all from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities Real Estate Trust Accounting: Manage daily tenant receipting, process direct debits, execute landlord payouts and EFT payments, and handle bond transactions. Reconciliations & Financial Reporting: Perform daily and monthly trust account reconciliations, maintain ledger updates, and generate weekly financial performance reports. General Bookkeeping & Compliance: Support broader business operations by overseeing the general ledger, preparing BAS (Business Activity Statements), and managing EOFY (End of Financial Year) and EOM (End of Month) processing. Payroll Processing: Maintain basic payroll processes, track employee hours, and manage expense disbursements accurately. Required Qualifications & Experience Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Real Estate Trust Accounting and bookkeeping, specifically adhering to Australian regulations and compliance standards. AU Financial Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Australian financial terminology and processes (e.g., BAS, GST, EOFY, Bond Lodgements, and Disbursals). Education: A Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred. Professional Traits: Absolute discretion, strict adherence to financial integrity, and laser-sharp attention to detail. Preferred Tech Stack Experience (Experience with any of the following software is highly regarded) Trust Accounting Software: PropertyMe, Property Tree, VaultRE, Console Cloud, Salesforce.
