To learn more, visit . We are seeking a 3PL \& Warehouse Operations Lead to own and continuously improve PerkUp's third-party logistics and warehouse operations. This is a senior, hands-on operations role for someone who can lead the full flow of products through our warehouse network: onboarding new 3PL and WMS partners, managing Shopify and WMS integrations, creating and reviewing ASNs and ARNs, protecting inventory accuracy, resolving receiving issues, and building scalable operating systems as our bulk swag business grows. The right person has already worked remotely, knows how warehouse management systems work, understands how orders flow from Shopify into a WMS, and knows how inventory syncs back from a WMS into Shopify. They should be able to diagnose sync issues, spot broken warehouse processes, communicate clearly with external partners, and take ownership without needing step-by-step direction. This role is fully remote and works on Eastern Standard Time (EST). Night shift comfort is a must, not a maybe. Key Responsibilities 3PL \& Warehouse Operations Leadership - Own PerkUp's end-to-end 3PL and warehouse operations across inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, order flow, and issue resolution. - Lead the operating relationship with 3PL warehouses, suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams. - Create, manage, and audit Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs) and Advance Receiving Notices (ARNs) for inbound bulk swag shipments. - Define the standard workflow for how products move from suppliers into 3PL warehouses and become available for fulfillment. - Hold warehouse partners accountable to receiving timelines, data accuracy, labeling requirements, and issue resolution SLAs. WMS, Shopify \& Systems Ownership - Own the operational setup for new WMS and 3PL systems, including how they connect into Shopify and support PerkUp's fulfillment workflows. - Understand and manage how Shopify orders land in warehouse management systems and how fulfillment status, tracking, and inventory updates sync back. - Troubleshoot Shopify/WMS inventory sync issues, SKU mapping issues, duplicate or missing inventory, and mismatched product data. - Maintain clean product, SKU, variant, barcode, warehouse, and location data across Shopify and connected warehouse systems. - Partner with internal technical and operations teams to identify integration gaps, document requirements, and validate fixes. Inventory Accuracy \& Issue Resolution - Own inventory correctness checks across Shopify, WMS platforms, 3PL reports, and internal tracking systems. - Investigate and resolve shortages, overages, damaged goods, missing cartons, mislabeled shipments, and receiving discrepancies. - Reconcile inbound shipment data against BOLs, packing slips, commercial invoices, carrier tracking, warehouse receipts, and Shopify inventory. - Build checks and reports that catch inventory issues before they affect customer orders. - Escalate urgent issues clearly, with the facts, impact, proposed next steps, and owners. Process Improvement, SOPs \& Reporting - Build and maintain SOPs for receiving, ASN/ARN creation, WMS onboarding, Shopify inventory updates, discrepancy resolution, and warehouse partner communication. - Identify bottlenecks in warehouse and 3PL workflows, propose practical fixes, and drive improvements through implementation. - Create reporting on receiving timelines, discrepancy rates, inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, and open operational risks. - Turn recurring issues into better processes, clearer documentation, stronger checks, or system improvements. Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, sales, customer success, and technical teams to keep fulfillment smooth and customer commitments realistic. - Communicate clearly with warehouse partners and suppliers, especially when details are ambiguous, urgent, or high impact. Qualifications Required - 3PL / Warehouse Operations Experience: Proven experience in 3PL operations, warehouse operations, ecommerce fulfillment, inventory operations, or supply chain logistics. - Remote Work Experience: Prior experience working in a remote role, with the discipline, communication habits, and reliability required to operate independently. - WMS Experience: Comfortable working inside warehouse management systems such as ShipBob, ShipHero, Flexport, Deposco, Extensiv, NetSuite WMS, or similar platforms. - ASN \& ARN Experience: Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, or managing Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs) and Advance Receiving Notices (ARNs). - Shopify Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Shopify, including products, variants, SKUs, inventory quantities, fulfillment status, orders, and third-party apps. - Shopify/WMS Flow Understanding: Understands how ecommerce orders typically flow from Shopify into WMS systems and how inventory and fulfillment data sync back into Shopify. - Inventory Accuracy: Strong ability to audit, reconcile, and correct inventory across multiple systems and data sources. - Systems \& Integration Mindset: Comfortable diagnosing operational systems issues, documenting integration requirements, and working with technical teammates to resolve gaps. - Spreadsheet Proficiency: Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills for tracking shipments, reconciling quantities, analyzing exceptions, and building lightweight reporting. - Process Improvement Mindset: Not just someone who follows a process - someone who questions it, finds the gaps, and makes it better. - Ownership Mentality: Takes full responsibility for their domain, follows through without hand-holding, and proactively raises risks before they become fires. - Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams. - Time Management: Able to prioritize urgent operational issues while still improving systems and processes over time. - High Volume Tolerance: Thrives on repetitive, detail-critical operational work without cutting corners. - Reliable Work Setup: Personal equipment, stable internet, and a quiet workspace for remote night-shift hours. Nice to Have - Experience onboarding a new 3PL, warehouse, or WMS into an ecommerce or Shopify environment. - Experience with WMS/API/EDI troubleshooting, warehouse automation, or inventory middleware tools. - Experience with kitting, branded merchandise, swag, print-on-demand, or bulk product receiving. - Experience building dashboards, exception reports, or operational scorecards. - Experience managing external warehouse partners or holding vendors accountable to SLAs.
