Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Remote Schedule US Hours Job Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing fixed asset accounting activities, and supporting the monthly close process. This role involves performing account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has extensive accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment. Experience with fixed assets, general ledger accounting, and ERP systems is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Monitor Construction Authorization and Distribution Requests (CADRs) and capitalize, retire, transfer, and reconcile fixed assets as required Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation tracking Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting Prepare, review, and post journal entries into the general ledger Perform period-end General Ledger account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Analyze financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records Process and review AP invoice coding to ensure proper account allocation Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Generate, analyze, and interpret financial reports using Excel and accounting systems Support annual budgeting processes and ad hoc accounting projects as assigned Identify accounting issues, recommend solutions, and implement process improvements Maintain accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required) Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience (required) Experience with fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, retirement, and transfers Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes Experience working in high-volume accounting environments Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, including data analysis and financial reporting Experience with Oracle ERP preferred; SAP experience is also acceptable US accounting experience is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues Ability to prepare accurate financial information while maintaining strict confidentiality Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proven track record of producing high-quality work with strong attention to detail Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted schedules during month-end close periods as needed Pay: Up to Php44,000\.00 per month Benefits Work from home Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have with Fixed Assets accounting?
