Job Title: Sales \& Marketing Executive – IT Solutions \& Client Partnerships About The Role Work directly with founders and CEOs of software and technology companies and gain exposure to how modern products are built. This role involves early-stage client engagement, qualification, and coordination with technical teams. You will work closely with an Australian-based director and play a key role in helping innovative businesses access government incentive programs. This is not a typical sales role. It is structured, detail-oriented, and requires strong ownership and organisation. What You’ll Do Engage with founders, CEOs, and senior stakeholders Capture key information such as company structure, project activities, and expenditure Assess suitability for government incentive programs Prepare clear and structured summaries from client discussions Support proposals, follow-ups, and client communication Build and maintain strong client relationships Provide after-sales support and ensure high client satisfaction Coordinate handovers to the technical team Track client progress and maintain accurate records Manage tasks, follow-ups, and appointments without missing deadlines What We’re Looking For Core Skills Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with senior stakeholders Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to work independently and take full ownership of tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Technical Awareness Able to understand and discuss software products at a high level Familiar with software development processes such as planning, development, testing, and iteration Comfortable speaking with technical teams Accounting and Commercial Awareness Basic understanding of accounting or tax concepts Able to follow discussions around costs, expenditure, and financial context Comfortable understanding company structures Experience Experience in client-facing roles such as sales, account management, or consulting Experience working with financial information, budgeting, or costing is preferred Background in accounting, finance, or tax concepts is highly regarded Experience in BPO, professional services, or technology-related environments is a plus Exposure to software companies or digital products is an advantage Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, IT, or a related field 3–5 years of professional experience in a relevant field Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a BPO or technology-related environment Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, and digital tools Background in taxation and financial accounting Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in engaging with CEOs Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Working Style Expectations You will be expected to work with minimal supervision and take full ownership of your work.
