International Logistics Analyst

Job Description

The International Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting domestic and international transportation operations, coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, monitoring freight performance, and identifying opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The role works closely with internal teams, customers, carriers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely transportation services. Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor international, ocean export, and cross-border shipments. Support domestic freight operations, including truckload, LTL, intermodal, drayage, and expedited shipments. Track shipments, address exceptions, and monitor delivery performance. Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and transportation providers. Assist with carrier sourcing, onboarding, capacity planning, and performance management. Support transportation bids, rate negotiations, contracts, and carrier selection. Monitor carrier compliance, insurance, safety, and risk requirements. Analyze freight costs and carrier performance to identify savings opportunities. Review freight invoices, resolve billing issues, and assist with financial reporting. Maintain logistics data, KPIs, carrier scorecards, and operational reports. Use logistics and shipment visibility systems for tracking and reporting. Collaborate with Logistics, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Warehousing, and external partners. Support process improvements, system enhancements, and other logistics projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, International Business, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, carrier management, or international logistics. Experience in ocean freight, cross-border, and domestic transportation operations is preferred. Knowledge of carrier sourcing, transportation procurement, rate negotiation, capacity planning, and performance management. Experience in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
