Remote \| Full-Time / Part-Time Direct US Client About The Role We are looking for a Wood Structural Designer Engineer with direct experience in US wood-frame residential construction . The ideal candidate must have experience designing and reviewing timber structural systems for residential homes. Responsibilities Design wood-frame residential structural systems. Prepare structural calculations and engineering reports. Design roof trusses, floor framing, wall framing, and structural connections. Review architectural and structural drawings. Coordinate with architects and project managers. Support projects from design through construction. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Licensed Structural Engineer is preferred. Minimum 2 years of US wood-frame structural engineering experience. Strong knowledge of US residential wood-frame construction. Experience with timber framing, roof trusses, floor systems, shear walls, and structural detailing. Familiar with US building codes and structural design standards.
