Responsibilities Develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom apps. Implement and manage third-party API integrations to enhance Shopify functionalities. Design and build user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. Create and maintain secure, high-performance server-side logic and functionalities. Optimize front-end and back-end performance for speed and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the entire stack Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of both front-end and back-end systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for both client-side and server-side applications. Stay updated with the latest developments in Shopify’s platform, APIs, and full stack development technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge. Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality. Monitor and improve the security of the entire stack. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to the full stack. Work closely with designers to implement visual designs accurately and effectively. Profile Proven experience as a full stack developer, preferably with Shopify. 3-7 years of experience in technical development roles Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js. Strong understanding of Liquid for customizing Shopify themes. Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or PHP. Experience with Shopify’s REST and GraphQL APIs. Strong understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git. Knowledge of web server technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices. Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
